Uh, well, maybe it is.

From Jason Lezak's thrilling world-record finish as the anchor in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay to former Longhorn Aaron Peirsol breaking his own world record in the 100-meter backstroke, the headlines have all been similar: Records have fallen at a rate faster than, well, the swimmers who are setting them.

Senior defensive end Brian Orakpo and junior quarterback Colt McCoy prove that everything's subjective. Talking to the media after Wednesday's scrimmage, the first of the season in full pads, McCoy mentioned that he had a 70-yard touchdown run. Seems like quite an accomplishment against new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp's revved-up defense.
